Olive Zero stemmed from a hungover morning where both founders had a “we need to get our life together” moment. A few short weeks later, the idea was in place, and we got to work with a simple mission: making carbon accounting and reporting simple and accessible for small businesses. A serious problem solved by two very unserious people.
The Founders
Ismail Uzair, Co-Founder
Ismail is our Chief Executive Officer, who has unwillingly had to deal with a lot more legal nonsense than he had originally anticipated. Originally exposed to the world of carbon accounting and emissions tracking through an internship, he saw a gap in the market and Olive Zero was born.
Matthew Garrett, Co-Founder
Matt is our Chief Technical Officer, who has spent most of his time since starting this company in his room, alone in the dark, coding away. Surprisingly, he’s loved every second of it. That’s kinda it…
